About Us

Stocker Chevrolet had it’s beginnings in a Quonset hut located in Bellefonte, Pa. in 1961. Gene Stocker Senior was at the helm.

In 1965 Stocker moved into their present location in State College and added the Subaru franchise in 1983.  In 1985 Gene Stocker Jr. took the reins and has built the business to what it is today.

Over the years our Service Department has grown by leaps and bounds also. Servicing 2,800 vehicles a year, to over 10,000 a year.

Our staff of  professionals have the latest tools and electronic technology the automotive industry has to offer.  Kim Snook as well as Gene Stocker Jr., has made a commitment to their customers to give them the best service available any where in the area.

We service GM vehicles as well as most domestic cars and trucks with twenty five service bays and thirteen Technicians.  The Techs are all ASE certified as well as GM/Subaru certified where applicable.
